Continuously graded proportional circle maps are a type of point pattern map that uses circle to represent numeric data. Unlike range graded circle maps, continuously graded circle maps, the circles come in all sizes. The larger the circle, the larger the numerical value, and the small the circle, the smaller the numerical value. In this specific circle map, the Hispanic population is represented in the United States. According to the size of the circles, it appears that California has the largest amount of people of the Hispanic race in that state.
