An isoline map is a map with continuous lines joining at points of the same value. They show three dimensional figures in two dimensional form by using contour lines. Some examples of isoline maps are isotachs, isobars, and isopleths etc. This map illustrates Jamestown and shows that it is close to a body of water which is shown by the circular contour lines.
